Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research, which is one of the most important problem of beekeeping, honey bee (Apis mellifera L.) colonies, parasites used against Varroa destructor alternative to chemicals in order to determine the effectiveness of new control methods. This research was carried out on 40 A.mellifera colonies in Çukurova University Agriculture Faculty Animal Science of Apiary in 2003.Application methods used in this research results on the effects of the varroa; in the spring season was determined Oxalic Acid group 95.56%; Perizin® group 96.96%; Lactic Acid group 95.02%; Orange Peel group 94.44%; Drone Bee removal group 91.14%; Worker Bee removal group 95,11%; Eucalyptus and leaves Bark 97.58% in the group. The application groups were significant that the difference between P <0.01.As a result, honey and wax residue, left on the varroa drug as an alternative; eucalyptus bark and leaves, oxalic acid ,lactic acid, a worker bee removal, orange peel and drone bee removal methods varroa struggle to be effective and beekeeper can be recommended for applications that have been put forward.Keywords: Honey bee, varroa, oxalic acid, lactic acid, eucalyptus, orange.
