Abstract (EN)
Having been ceased the cold war, Serbia conceived to either annex Bosnia and Kosovo's territories or maintain status quo by repressing and forcing Bosnian and Kosovar to emigrate from their own ground, and so ethnic Serbian population percentage would have rose in the region. While Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, get their own independence from Yugoslavia, Bosnia-Herzegovina also get her independence from Yugoslavia, despite bloody. Remaining Republic from Yugoslavia, Montenegro and Serbia established loose federal state under the name of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Kosovo which got right of autonomous administration by linking to Serbia with 1974 constitution had same right as six republic of Yugoslavia, but Kosovo hadn't got the right of taking apart from Yugoslavia Although Republics of Yugoslavia had partition right. Kosovo demanded to be enhanced her status to republic as other republics in Yugoslavia. It was experienced sometimes violence events in Kosovo as putting into action this demand. Once Miloşeviç took office in Serbia, It was started repressing policies against ethnic Albanian living in Kosovo. Albanians resisted to this situation by being not silence. While Serbian's pressure increasingly went up against Albanian resistance in Kosovo, Albanian resistance carried on parallel with Serbian pressure. Violent incidence and conflicts that fed with each other between ethnic Albanian and Serbian came out nationalistic soul. Humanity crime committed against ethnic Albanians by Serbians conducting ultranationalist manner gave power to Albanian nationalism as their own opposite polar. Because of the fact that conflicts increased, Serbia removed Kosovo's autonomous. This development was one of the most important occurrences that made positive contribution to Kosovo's independence process. Violence didn't fade away any longer, but increasingly continued. Oppressed member of the community established UÇK (Kosovo's Liberation Army) for armed resistance action by desiring Albanian nationalism and by feeding revenge sentiment. After that phase, when slaughters, emigration, violation of human rights threaded to spread all around the Balkan region, NATO interfered to Yugoslavia in 1999. Yugoslavian army retracted from Kosovo and massacre was halted. Interim administration was established, and then reconstruction process was commenced in vii Kosovo. Because Negotiations with regard to final status of Kosovo resulted in fruitless, Kosovo declared unilaterally independence in 2008. However, Kosovo question wasn't solved completely. Serbia has seen Kosovo as attached to Serbia and clashes between Albanians and Serbians living Northern Kosovo sporadically have continued. Serbians living in this region haven't recognized Kosovo government and they have established and continued to run their own institution with contributions of the Serbian government.
