Literary and cultural movement in Balıkesir Postası Newspaper: 1943-1953

Balıkesir Postası newspaper is a daily political newspaper that started publishing in Balıkesir on January 1, 1943. The newspaper, which started its publication life in 1943, continued its publication life until 1980. The newspaper was printed in Balıkesir Turkish market for many years. In the prepared study, the political, literary and cultural environment between 1943 and 1953 was examined. Although the newspaper started to be published as a daily political public newspaper, its range of content is very wide. It has managed to come to the fore in many fields such as politics, art, health, sports, economy and education. The function and importance of Balıkesir Postası newspaper in the history of the local press has been tried to be discussed and its contribution to press history and literature in the years discussed has been revealed. While the newspaper had a policy approach that followed the CHP line in its early years, it approached the Democratic Party front in the following period. Along with the changes in the political processes, art, economy and writer staff have also had their share. A systematic index of the articles and writer staff of the writers who stand out with the publishing life and publishing policy of Balıkesir Postası newspaper, their identity information, the abundance of their articles and the quality of their qualifications has been made. When looking at the numerical continuity of the prepared index, occasional shifts and omissions can be seen.
