Abstract (EN)
The effort of human beings to find the best ways, effected developping of decorating techniques in the course of time by artistic dimension through furniture industry. People have been used furniture not only as home furniture but also they have been attached importance to wood decorating since the past. Sometimes it sounds like the importance of decorating techniques decrease but in fact decorating techniques are the indispensable aestethic components of furniture and decoration elements. In furniture industry the economic, technological and socio-cultural changes also effect decorating techniques. Throughout this study carving techniques on wooden parts by the design press machine are researched which are the practical techniques of wood carving. The study contains researches about ?design press machine?, ?kinds of woods that are used at carving by design press machine?, ?kinds of knives?, ?ways of using carving parts and those fields of application at furniture decoration?.
