Abstract (EN)
In this study; sixty species of 43 genera belonging to 11 subfamilies were identified by evaluating 318 Cicadellidae samples collected from West Mediterranean Region between the periods of 2000 April- September and 2001 April-August. Anacerataagallia venosa, Empoasca (Kybos) volgensis, Diplocolenus (Verdanus) abdominalis and Jassargus sursumflexus species were identified as the first record for the Turkish Fauna. An identification key belonging to the subfamilies, genera and species for the West Mediterranean Region, their descriptions, the data of localities, distributions both in Turkey and arround the World were shown for each species. The photographs of lateral and dorsal views of the male genitalia and seventh abdominal sternum of females which have a taxonomic importance were also presented.
