Abstract (EN)

Continued increase in world population, this increase in proportion to the increase in the amount of consumption, on the other hand, the limitations of the production areas lead countries to the maximum efficiency in production.In this thesis, examined the factors affecting the production of oranges in Finike and Kumluca region. The data used in the study estimated from the survey and secondary data Oranges are grown in 61,270 acres of this region and 10.07% of this area?s (6,168 hectares) datas were obtained through surveys from the 65 farmers. In the study, the climate data were used as secondary data. An important part of the data on soil, have been obtained from the surveys and researches conducted in laboratories in the region.In the study, factors affecting production is divided into two groups as non-climate factors and climate factors . Factor analysis was applied over this structure. In conclusion, climate factors were obtained from two separate regression model that one of the climate factors are independent vaiables and the other is the independent variable of all the factors other than climate.The output of both models, that is, the dependent variable is the amount of orange production per tree. Both regression model was tested with data of the model, which is the output per tree production is a significant relationship between the independent variables to predict the observed and the production figures of up to 90% accurate results have been obtained.
