Abstract (EN)

Today, increasing air pollution in parallel with the impact of industry and rapid developments in technology has increased in some cities to threaten human health at a dangerous level it has become a global problem that ends the lives of millions of people on a world scale. Components of air pollution include heavy metals; they do not deteriorate easily in nature and have a biodegradable property in their live bodies. In addition, some people are particularly toxic at low concentrations, some are toxic, most are carcinogens, and almost all of them are harmful even at high concentrations, even those required as micronutrients. Therefore, monitoring of heavy metal pollution is of particular importance. Especially in the monitoring of heavy metal concentrations in the air, plants are used extensively. In this study, Picea pungens, whose needles can remain on the tree for many years and can be calculated clearly by the needle nodes, were investigated as biomonitor in the monitoring of heavy metal pollution. In the scope of work, the changing of elements of Zn, Ni, Cr, Co, Cd and Pb in three different organs with needles, bark and branch depending on the organ age and washing was investigated. The results of the study show that the heavy metal concentrations of the study vary significantly depending on the organ and organ age. However, it was determined that each element reached higher concentrations in different organs. In the results of working, the highest concentrations were obtained in branch in Zn, in needles and branch in Ni, and in addition to be in needles in Cr and Cd.
