Abstract (EN)

This study was based on evaluation of spermatheca structures of some Chaetorellia and Orellia species sistematically which were collected from different provinces of Turkey between 1999-2013. In the study, spermathecae morphologies of total 6 species [Chaetorellia carthami Stackelberg, Chaetorellia jaceae (Robineau – Desvoidy), Chaetorellia loricata (Rondani), Chaetorellia succinea (Costa), Orellia falcata (Scopoli) and Orellia stictica (Gmelin)] belonging to genera of Chaetorellia and Orellia were figured with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and examined for different characters. Surface morphology of the spermathecae strutures examined and descriptive informations were given for each species. SEM figures of spermathecae structures were presented for each species in this thesis. There are significant differences on surface of spermathecal bulb of Chaetorellia and Orellia species which are used in the study. Also, aspect ratio of spermathecal bulb is distiguishing character between genera. According to obtained SEM figures, we observed differences of spermathecae morphologies are valuable characters for systematic and usefull characters for identification of species.
