Determination of performances of some sewing yarns

This research is prepared to determine the performance of sewing yarns that exist in Izmir region which are mostly used for clothes like shirts and blouses. For this reason, samples of some mostly used sewing yarns are taken from the wholesalers and these samples are physically and chemically tested according to the Turkish Standards. Results of the tests are evaluated according to the Turkish Standards. Besides, samples are tested in sewing operation at enterprise conditions, and in these tests number of break off yarn are counted, and performances of samples are evaluated practically.
