Abstract (EN)

In this study, a new reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC-UV) method coupled with UV dedector was developed for simultaneous determination of four synthetic food colarants, including Tartrazine (E 102), Qiunolin Yellow (E 104), Sunset Yellow (E 110) and Allura Red (E 129). Developed method was applied for the analysis of different food samples. All food samples used during this study have been obtained from local markets and totally 10 differents food sampels have been analysed. The study, Zorbax EclipseR XDB-C8 Analytical (4,6-150 mm, 5 micron, Agilent) as column, and 1% (m/v) ammonium acetate buffer solution at pH 7,50, acetonitrile and methanol as mobile phase A, B, C, respectively was used. A good separation was obtained for all compounds using an optimized gradient elution within 16 minute and developed method was validated by determining the calibration curve, precision, limit of quantification and detection (LODs and LOQs). The method was compared with an another method, using istatistical students-t test. Also, the amounts of colourant in food samples were compared with National Standarts of Turkey.
