Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACTIn this study, some isonicotinic acid N-oxide metal halide complexes that are given with theformula Mn(INO)2I2 , Zn(INO)2I2, Cu(INO)2Br2, Co(INO)4I2, Ni(INO)4Br2 and Ni(INO)4I2 have beenchemically synthesised for the first time. The infrared spectra of the prepared complexes were-1reported in 4000-400cm region by KBr disc method. As a results of the reported IR spectra, it is arefound that the vibrational frequency values of ligand molecule are shifted to comlex structure and thisshifts depend on metal and halogen atoms. The chemical formulas of complexes are determined bythe elemental analysis results. The proposed geometrical structure for complexes were explainedaccording to analysis results and frequency shifts. Keywords: Fundamentals vibration frequency, IR spectra, Isonicotinic acid N-oxide, Metal Halide,Octahedral, Tetrahedral
