Abstract (EN)
This study collected from different provinces of Turkey, Gaziantep University of spermatheca, spermathecal do some samples of fruit flies in the Entomology Laboratory is based on evaluation morphologically. Six species of fruit flies (Bacterocera oleae, Ceratitis capitata, Spathulina sicula, Sphenella marginata, Xyphosia miliaria) in the study were kept in 10% potassium hydroxide (KOH) for approximately 5-7 days and preparations were made to remove spermatocytes. The extracted spermatocytes were examined by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and their photographs were taken. The surface morphologies of each spermatheca structures were examined in a scanning electron microscope to reveal the similarities and differences of the species. Identical characters of species and SEM photographs of spermatocytes of species were given. Key Words: Fruit Insects Tephritidae, Spermateka, SEM
