Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY In this work, 6-Fenilhexanoic, 7-Fenilheptanoic, 8~Fenilnonanoic, II- Feniltmdecanoic acids and nonanoic acids having methyl groups 2~,6-,7-,8- positions were titrated spectrophotometrically and potantiometrically with tetrabutylammonium hydroxide (TBAOH) in isopropil alcohol solvent. In the spectrophotometric titrations for the determination of end-points, absorbance measurements were plotted against the volume of titrant added. In the potentjometric titrations, first derivative of the electromotive force (EMF) of a galvanic cell was plotted againts quantity of titrant added to determine end-points. In addition, by using of half neutralization potentials (HNP) pKa values were found. If the pKa values obtained were interpreted, the change in the strenght of the acids obey theoretical assumptions. Besides, it's find out that quantitative determinations of these acids in isopropil alcohol with TBAOH by spectrophotometric method is possible
