Abstract (EN)

In this study, reduction potentials, diffusion coefficients and transferred electron numbers of four Sb(III) complexes were determined using hanging mercury electrode by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry in aqueous solution. In addition, inhibition effect of Sb (III) complexes to reduced glutathione that determines the IC50 values of glutathione reductase enzyme was investigated by square wave voltammetry. GSH determination was performed by square wave voltammetry. Limit of detection and limit of quantification of reduced glutathione were as 7.89×10-7 M and 2.69×10-6 M respectively. As a result of enzymatic reaction of the enzyme in the complex and different concentrations of complex, Km and Vmax values were calculated. According to the calculated Km and Vmax values, it is determined that the actual inhibition is competitive inhibition.Key Words : Glutathione reductase, Sb(III) complexes, inhibition
