ABSTRACTMaster of Science ThesisSYNTHESIS OF MONOAZO COMPOUNDS OF SOME SUBSTITIUE ANİLİN WİTHBENZENE-1,3 -DIOL AND INVESTIGATION OF THEIR TAUTOMERICEQUILIBRIUMNilüfer AKSUAnadolu UniversityGraduate School of SciencesChemistry ProgramSupervisor: Asst.Prof.Dr. Halil BERBER2007, 124 pagesIn this study, dyestuffs of monoazo were synthetized by using five substitued anilineand benzene 1,3-diol compounds and characterized.In the second stage, tautomeric properties of synthetized molecules in pureDMSO, CH3CH2OH, CHCl3, benzene, cyclohexane solutions, in solvent affect, acidic andbasic media were examined using UV-vis spectrophotometric technique at 25±1oC, 35±1oCve 45±1oC.
