An investigation on Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's poem

Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, who has an individual place in the poem of republic time period, was a well-qualified poet. The objective of this study is to investigate Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu?s poems thoroughly. The thesis consists of three sections, which are Abstract, Introduction and References. In the Introduction section, the panorama of Turkish poems in which Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu given his works, was presented. And an attempt has been made to reside the place of the poets. In the first part, the life of Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, his art and poets were briefly presented. His family, his childhood, his rise, his educational period, his marriage and his occupation were emphasized in his life part. His introduction to poem and literature world, cultural and aesthetic world which affect the poet?s personality and his awards were highlighted under his art part. At the end of this section the poem books of poets were given. In the second section of the thesis the point of views of the poet about art, literature and language were presented. His views about art, literature and language were classified and investigated one by one. The third section is the hart of the thesis. The investigation of Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu?s poems is in there. The investigation was summarized under themes, motifs, language and expression outlines. Metaphysics themes, individual themes, public themes were the first part while verse unit, verse motifs and concordance were the second and spiking language, expression motifs, distinction from the poem language, profiting form the indication properties and cultural background of poem language were third part. In the result section a general evaluation of the thesis was made. In the references section a list of the references, which were investigated, were given.
