Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine the degree of proximity of the most frequently used editions of Beethoven's Op. 69 Piano-Violoncello Sonata, which is considered one of the important works of violoncello repertory, to its manuscript. Therefore, this descriptive study is based on survey methodology. Accordingly, the piece's handwritten manuscript is compared with other chosen editions using a descriptive survey model. The study aims to find out which editions are the closest to the Beethoven's original conception. As a result of study, it is determined that the Bärenreiter's 2004 edition is more proximate to the original manuscript than the other scrutinized editions.
