Abstract (EN)
Vasculitis which is characterized by the inflammation of vein walls, endothelial dysfunctions and injury is tought to be responsible in the pathogenesis of Behcet's disease. Tissue factor pathway inhibitor(TFPI) is a kunitz type proteinase inhibitor that as a crucial role in haemostasis and is primarily synthetized in the vascular endothelium. We investigated that plasma total TFPI and some other coagulation and fibrinolytic system parameters(Antiphospholipid antibodies:APA, protein C and S, von Willebrand factor:Ag, plasminogen, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 and tissue plasminogen activator) in 30 patients with Behcet's disease and 15 controls by the sandwich type elısa method. TFPI levels were higher significantly in Behcet's group(119±57.5) in comparison to control group(74.8±31.5) (p<0.009). ^¦aİETİi KMLU iBMTASYQH MEM
