Abstract (EN)

The aim of the thesis is to give information about Minstrel Kamil Sayın?s life and art and to introduce the representatives of the tradition live in Belgium briefly.The study consists of preface, four main parts, bibliography, Turkish and English abstracts and conclusion.In Prologue, general information about tradition of minstrelsy, immigration from Emirdağ to Belgium and its reasons, tradition of minstrelsy and minstrels living in Belgium are provided.In the first section, information about birth, family and life of Minstrel Kamil Sayın is given, his military service, wife and children, going abroad and starting minstrelsy are mentioned.In the second section, Minstrel Kamil Sayın?s literary aspect is explained. His poems?s meter and rhyme is told and examples of literary arts and expression types in his poems are shown. In the third section, Minstrel Kamil Sayın?s poems are classified thematically. These poems are divided into eight titles: National Themed Poems, Social Themed Poems, Nature and Seasons Themed Poems, Religion Themed Poems, Love Themed Poems, Poems for Eminent People, Other Themed Poems, Homeland Themed Poems.In the fourth section, Minstrel?s poems are classified and attached in terms of syllable. His poems are written as seven syllable, eight syllable, eleven syllable and fifteen syllable.After the main parts, Turkish and English abstracts, conclusion and bibliography are located in the study.Keywords1.
