Investigation of the relationship between lifelong learning tendencies and technology acceptance and use levels of municipality employees

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the lifelong learning trends and the technology acceptance level of the employees in Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and to reveal their relationship with some demographic variables.The population of the research was GASKİ, Fire and Municipal Polis Department employees who are the highest number of service requests were made by citizens and the most compact units Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality in 2019. The sample of the study included, randomly selected 246 municipal employees who were working different location. The answers to the questions are sought with a quantitative approach. "Personal Information Form", "Lifelong Learning Trends Scale" developed by Yaman and Yazar (2015) and "Technology Acceptance and Use Unified Model Scale" was applied to determine the targeted variables in the study. The distance of the scales results from the error was approved and Cronbach Alpha coefficient showed (0.97). The distance from the results of the scales was confirmed and shows the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient (0.97). In the study, t-test and One-Way Anova were used to determine the sample to reflect the unrelated universe in statistical analysis.As a result of the evaluation of the results achieved it was determined that Lifelong Learning Trends and Technological Acceptance Levels of the municipal employees participating in the study were at medium level. In addition, Lifelong Learning Trends and Technological Acceptance and Use Levels of municipal employees; there was no significant difference in terms of statistical evaluation according to 'gender, education level, service period, number of courses taken, but there was a significant difference in terms of Hedonic Motivation.
