Abstract (EN)

The exemplary personality of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) serves as a guiding model for humanity, with his life and teachings representing a paradigm within the framework of Islamic ethics and values. As social beings, individuals can develop proper approaches in human relations only by internalizing these moral principles. In addition to encouraging and praising virtuous behavior, the Prophet (pbuh) also criticized and prohibited various negative attitudes and actions. Identifying these behaviors is essential for Muslims to uphold the ethical excellence prescribed by Islam. This study, based on Kutub al-Sittah, seeks to determine the attitudes and behaviors deemed inappropriate in hadiths concerning individual and social relations. These behaviors have been categorized by theme and examined in light of both classical and modern sources. In this context, erroneous attitudes and behaviors—seen as manifestations of moral weaknesses and spiritual deficiencies—have been analyzed in terms of their effects on individuals and society. Furthermore, the potential causes and consequences of these behaviors have been explored, while solutions and the virtues of opposing moral values have also been discussed. It is hoped that this study will contribute, albeit modestly, to fostering a more ethical and conscientious society.
