Abstract (EN)
In this work, it is aimed to increase the load carrying capacity of reinforced concrete beams. The materials used for strengthening are concrete, steel and CFRP (Carbon fiber reinforced plastic). In increasing of reinforced concrete beams the comparison of these tree materials is made. The ways of combination of these materials with the beams are explained. In the numerical examples for strengthening of the beams when the beam with no initial load and with initial load cases are considered. Due to these cases, the methods of calculations are given. When the uninitial strains exist on the beams, the behaviors of the beams are considered numerically.
