Abstract (EN)

In this study, effect of concrete tension strength on the deflection of prestressed beams is investigated. The tensile strength of concrete, as required by current codes, is neglected in the design of prestressed and reinforced concrete elements. In the present study, 6 different material models are investigated for the expression of this behavior of concrete. For this purpose, a software program is developed in Visual Basic to compare diverse material models. The program is able to analyse different sections such as rectangular, T and I.Key Words : Concrete, Tension strength, Prestressed concrete, Beam, Deflection, Programming
