Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research was to determine the effect of work motivation on organizational commitment in white-collar Y generation employees and to reveal whether it differs according to personal characteristics. The sample of this research, which is a screening model, consists of 260 people. As a data collection tool in the research, the Job Motivation Scale, which was developed by Mottaz (1985) to measure the motivation levels of the employees and adapted into Turkish by Ersarı and Naktiyok in 2012, and the Work Motivation Scale developed by Allen and Meyer (1990) to determine the organizational commitment levels of the employees and Wasti (2000). ) and the Demographic Information Form developed by the researcher were used. SPSS 26 package program was used to analyze the data. As a result of the survey, it was determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between work motivation and its sub-dimensions and organizational commitment and sub-dimensions. In the study, it was also concluded that work motivation significantly affects organizational commitment and affective, continuance and normative commitment. It was concluded that there was no significant difference between education level, age and working time in the institution. Finally, it was determined that the work motivation levels of men were higher than women.
