Abstract (EN)

This research was conducted with the aim of documenting the usage of natural plants for medicinal purposes, as food, in religious and ritual practices as well as other purposes among the local population in the districts Beypazarı and Nallıhan. The study took place over a period of 12 days, from May 2022 to June 2022, during which 27 neighborhoods in Beypazarı and 32 neighborhoods in Nallıhan were visited. The usage methods, purpores, preparation techniques and application methods of the plants were recorded. In line with the information obtained during the visits to the study area, the plants were collected and identified from the field in accordance with the rules for preparing herbarium samples. The collected plant samples are stored at Hacettepe University Herbarium (HUB). As a result of this study, the use of 114 taxa (104 natural and 10 cultivated) was identified. Among these plants, 1 taxa is sporophyte, 4 taxa belong to gymnosperms, 33 taxa belong to monocots, 74 taxa belong to dicots, and 2 are parasitic plants. Common diseases in plant supplementation in the research area have been determined and the informative consensus factor (FIC) values transmitted are also kept for each initial UV value with treatment use. 6 endemic taxa were identifiied.
