Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the effects of sample geometry on electrical and magneticproperties of Bi-Based high Tc superconductor was investigated. To do suchinvestigation, firstly it was neccessary to prepare samples which was being later usedin the experiment. Bi-2223 ceramic powder was prepared by solid state reactions.For the experiment it was necesary to prepare 3mm diameter, 12mm long cylindersamples and then to open 0,5mm, 1mm and 1. 5mm diameters holes on the exactmiddles of them as axial. First samples with no holes was produced and annealed allthe samples at 830oC in air for 48 hours duration. Then, holes as axial were openedon the middles of no hole samples which was prepared earlier. To determine theeffects of sample geometries, the measure of magnetic susseptibility was taken oneach sample by a means of AC susceptometer. DC transport critical current densitieswere measuring. The graphics and assessments of the all measurements wereprovided and the effects of sample geometry were disscused in this thesis.Key Words: Superconductivity, High Temperature Superconductivity, BSCCO,Magnetic Sussceptibility
