Abstract (EN)

In this study, Traditional and Complementary Medicine (TCM) is defined by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine as a group of various medical and health systems, practices, and products not currently considered part of traditional medicine. Although TCM has been in use since the dawn of humanity, it has become widely used since the 1990s. TCM is a result of people's needs to heal emotional and physical discomforts. TCM has developed therapeutic and preventive approaches by leveraging the religious beliefs and social structures of many indigenous people, using natural products in their surroundings, and recently employing a scientific method. It can be said that ancient wisdom also influences the focus on self-realization and when looking at people's birth charts for mental liberation. Therefore, turning more towards the essence is possible with proper education and practice. Particularly in the mental realm, where the subconscious is not fully understood, Traditional and Complementary Medicine can be utilized to determine what needs to be done. Through social media and the environment, a person's subconscious world can also change when introduced to Ancient Wisdom education. From a young age, people's subconscious can be influenced by spirituality. In later years, it progresses more scientifically and knowledgeably. For example; since the subconscious area of a person is undergoing a mental transformation, it can change based on experiences lived and seen by the individual, rather than just quoting from others or books. This research was conducted to investigate the impact of subconscious training on individuals' daily lives. In-depth interviews were conducted with individuals who have received subconscious training using the field research method. Interviews were held with individuals who received Ancient Wisdom and Access Bars subconscious training, and the data was analyzed based on these conversations. Within the scope of this study, sociological reasons for individuals seeking alternatives outside of modern medicine for their psychological or physical health conditions were explored. At the end of the study, it was observed that the underlying motivations for individuals to engage in such searches were existentialism, self-discovery, enlightenment, and psychological states of mind.
