Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to isolate indoor airborne microfungi from five stations in Manisa Yunusemre district, identify these fungi, screen them for three different enzymes, and determine their hemolytic activity. The microfungal isolation was carried out using the gravimetric method between October 2023 and July 2024. A total of 4694 microfungal colonies were counted in 200 petri dishes, and 20 species belonging to nine genera were identified as a result of the identification. The top four genera identified by the highest number of species were Aspergillus, Penicillium, Alternaria, and Cladosporium, respectively. The isolated microfungi were subjected to screening tests in petri dishes to determine their potential to produce amylase, lipase, and protease enzymes. Their growth was also examined on blood agar for hemolytic activity, an important virulence factor.
