ABSTRACTMaster ThesisAN EXPERIMENTALLY INVESTIGATION OFBUILDING-SOUTH SIDES BY USING A SOLARWALLBahar SAYIMFırat UniversityGraduate School of Natural and Applied SciencesDepartment of Mechanical Education2005, Page: 62As the current energy resources run out, researcing and developing new energyresources are needed. This situation is the matter that gets more attention in our countryas well as in the world. Alternative. Solar energy among alternative energy resourcesemerges as the best alternative energy. In this study; air collector with solar energy, which is aimed at heating buildings,is planned and applied through producing. It is seen that it provides increase in the heatdifference in sunny days through this new air collector with solar energy planned isapplied to test house which is constructed for test and has two rooms, one has collectorand the other has no.It is thought that increases in the demand of energy of our country will decreasethrough this collector collector that we produced, tested is applied to south-lookingother sides of the buildings, tanks, mosques and schools that will be newly constructed.Key Words: Solar energy, air-ventilated solar collector, solarwall, heating systems.IX
