Abstract (EN)

Humankind's needs change day by day. So, according to the needs searches and designings developed for the most suitable materials. There are a lot of material type in the World. But using areas are different according characteristics of these materials. In this study production of new type composite beam occured by taking bamboo body section. Natural bamboo is the most interesting material due to the structure of fibers. It is used in composites, industrial textile and construction industry thanks to the features like high performance, easy finding and low cost. The study can be devided in three main sections. First section is about the tests with bamboo body section. The second section is the production of composite beam like bamboo section structure. And the last section is the determination of the composite beam's flexural stiffness in different designing parameters. Mecanic tests about bamboo and bamboo body section's flexural stiffness are examined by Finite Element Method. The designing is transferred to the composite plate by bing made optimisation of fiber structure. For the production of composite beam silicon mold is designed and produced.rosin is transferred to this mold by using double molding. The beam consists of carbon rods and rosin. Through received test coupons bending stiffness of the structure will be obtained for different directions by experimenting simple bending tests, impact tests with produced beams. As a result obtained from standard unidirectional fiber composite beams having the same thickness are compared with the composite beam having bamboo section considering flexural stiffness / density parameter.
