Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the dynamic structure of the discrete system obtained by applying the Euler method to a continous prey-predator model is analyzed. In this model, there are two populations interacting with each other, namely prey and predator. These populations are modeled by nonlinear dynamic systems approach and the change in population with respect to time is expressed using differential equations. Firstly, the model is transformed into a system of difference equations by discretizing with the help of Euler method. Subsequently, the unity and the presence of the positive equilibrium point of the discrete system are determined and the conditions are set so that this point can be stable. Then the conditions for having flip bifurcation at this positive equilibrium point are established and the existence of the flip bifurcation under these conditions is proved with the help of the Center Manifold Theorem. Finally, the analytical results obtained are interpreted biologically in support of numerical studies.
