Abstract (EN)
In this study, the thermomechanical behavior of functionally graded elements with cylinder geometry was numerically investigated under various conditions. Temperature, displacement, and thermal stress distributions of the cylinders examined under conditions such as constant/variable internal temperature and pressure, time-dependent temperature, different values of internal heat generation and convection were obtained. Functionally grading obtained by ceramic-metal mixture was carried out with the Mori-Tanaka method for one-dimensional investigations and linear rule of mixture based on volume fractions for two-dimensional examinations. There are four different investigations carried out in the study, and all numerical calculations were made with the pseudospectral Chebyshev method. The method is based on the differential matrix approach and converts the differential equation into a system of linear equations by this approach. In the first investigation, the elastic behavior of radially graded hollow cylinders is considered. In the second investigation, the steady-state thermomechanical behavior of radially graded solid and hollow cylinders was determined. In the third investigation, the effect of coupled and inertia terms in the heat conduction and displacement equations is examined with the aid of classical coupled theory and Lord-Shulman theory under time-dependent thermal loads. The final review is devoted to the elastic behavior of pressurized thick-walled cylinder graded in two dimensions.
