Abstract (EN)

This thesis analyzes the accessory inventory management processes of a textile company and aims to examine the implementation of effective inventory management strategies. Inventory management plays a critical role in controlling costs and enhancing operational efficiency in organizations. The study focuses on inventory control methods, ABC analysis, fishbone analysis, and the economic order quantity (EOQ) method, identifying improvement areas within the company's current inventory system. The thesis also includes a detailed analysis of accessory stocks, with a particular focus on zippers, the most costly accessory item. Analysis of zippers through ABC classification revealed that they belong to a critical category requiring regular monitoring. The fishbone analysis was utilized to identify issues in the zipper supply process, uncovering key factors that hinder efficient supply chain management. The EOQ method was implemented to minimize the costs associated with overstocking and demonstrated significant improvements in maintaining optimal stock levels. In conclusion, this study highlights how effective inventory management strategies enhance the company's competitive advantage and financial performance, with particular attention to critical accessory items such as zippers and strategies for their improved management.
