Winter tourism as a touristic product and supply potential of winter tourism in Guba ? Hacmaz tourism district of Azerbaijan

Nowadays, in developed and developing countries tourism is considered the main part of progress. That`s why these countries makes an attention on the development of tourism sector. Besides that by appreciating of their supply potential and by using these sources these countries give a big importance to join to tourism activities. Especially winter tourism makes a great importance to increase touristic activities from 3-4 months to 12 months.The main purpose of this study is to find out the supply potential of winter tourism in Guba ? Hacmaz region. First of all in this study, universal dimensions of winter tourism were examined. Then the place of Azerbaijan and Guba ? Hacmaz region in tourism sector and the supply potential of winter tourism in Guba ? Hacmaz region was researched.At the last stage of this study by the qualitative analyze the potential opportunities of winter tourism in Azerbaijan were evaluated and was given an information about ? Shahdag Winter Tourism Center? which nowadays plays more important role in tourism sector of Azerbaijan.
