Abstract (EN)
With developing technology, the use of aircraft is increasing day by day. While the durability of parts and equipment used in aircraft is important, reducing their weight is also an important issue. Weight reduction, which is very important in the space and aviation industry, has become a necessary element for almost every part used. Due to the loading conditions it is exposed to and the area of use, weight reduction has become common in critical parts, taking into account the safety factor. In this study, "Topology Optimization And Manufacturable Remodeling Of An Aircraft Bracket With Traditional Methods" is discussed. In the study, static analysis of an aircraft bracket was performed and maximum stresses were obtained. Topology optimization of the selected bracket was performed under maximum stress and loading conditions using 4140 and 6061 metals. The bracket obtained with the minimum usable weight was redesigned according to the results obtained from the topology optimization process. At the end of this study, with the topology optimization method based on the finite element method, the optimum geometry of an aircraft part made of 6061 and 4041 materials was obtained with a safety coefficient of 1.50 and above. The obtained geometries were produced by machining method and subjected to compression tests. The graphics obtained in the ansys workbench program were compared with the graphics obtained in the compression test. According to the data obtained, the weight-reduced brackets carried the desired weight just like the original brackets. As a result, it has been revealed in the study that topology optimization can be combined with traditional production methods. In addition, by using a combination of structural analysis and topology optimization analysis as well as geometry change, it was possible to replace the original part with lower density materials. This provided the opportunity to save weight, which is extremely critical for aviation. Keywords: Topology Optimization, ANSYS Workbench, Finite Element Method, Air Vehicles
