Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of the individual's psychological capital on the organizational climate is found. The field study is carried out on the employees of the 72th Branch Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (Tokat). In the research, questionnaire is used as data acquisition method. The survey is organized according to Five Likert. In the first part of the study, the concept of capital, positive psychology,and positive psychological capital are explained.In addition to this,it is mentioned the dimensions of psychological capital (self-efficacy, hope, optimism, psychological endurance), the characteristics of psychological capital, concepts related to positive psychological capital (organizational commitment, job satisfaction, business performance, burnout) and the significance of psychological capital. In the second part,it is referred to the concept and definition of organization, the organizational climate, factors affecting organizational climate, dimensions of organizational climate, (bureaucratic organizational climate, supportive organizational climate, innovative organizational climate) types of organizational climate (open climate, independent climate, controlled climate, creative climate, sincere climate,paternalistic climate) and concepts related to organizational climate. In the third part, the effect of positive psychology on organizational climate is examined and literature studies which were conducted in this field is mentioned. In the fourth section, the effect of positive psychology on the organizational climate is examined and a research has been conducted in the 72th Branch Directorate of State Hydraulic Works and a conclusion about the study has been written. As a result of the study, t = 6.100 for H1.7, p = 0.000, t = 4.555 for H1.8, t = 9.050 and p = 0.000 for p = 0.000 and H1.9 were obtained. As a result of the obtained values, hypotheses are accepted. The effect of self-efficacy on organizational climate, which is one of the sub-dimensions of psychological capital is determined.
