Birgül Su Ariç: Her life, artistic journey, pedagogy, and contributions to Turkish opera

This research aims to reveal Birgül Su Ariç's contributions to Turkish opera by examining her life, art and education as a vocal pedagogue. The study addresses the artist's understanding of art and education; thus, it aims not only to document her experience and knowledge, but also to create a guiding resource for future generations of opera artists and educators. This study is also important as it is the first research conducted on Birgül Su Ariç. The research is a monograph study conducted in accordance with the screening model. A 'semi-structured interview form' was used as the data collection tool. The data obtained as a result of interviews conducted with Birgül Su Ariç herself, her colleagues and students were analyzed through 'descriptive analysis', a qualitative research analysis method.
