Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT Power that is one of the most important factors of human life has become a source of many organizational studies made in the social field today. This study includes definitions in academic literature and analysis on organizational power, power bases, and resources. When the concept of power is examined at the organizational level, the concepts of dependency and power can not be considered alone, so the dependencies of the units within the organization are mentioned. The units and their areas of activity within the five-star accommodation operation in the service sector, which is the research area, are explained. In a five-star city hotel that continues it's presence in Ankara, whether dependency relations within the units in the organization can be managed or not by social network relations which are the product of social capital is analyzed and interpreted through the data from social networks which include data of a hundred and forty-five main body members consisting of unit managers and employees.
