By emphasizing the shocks and discussions within the parliament caused by the situations experienced in Cyprus, which is described as a daughter homeland, attention was drawn to the efforts made regarding Cyprus in Turkish foreign policy The aim of the study was to examine how the events in Cyprus were received in the parliament, to include the views and discussions of the members of parliament on the island, and to determine the place and importance of Cyprus in Turkish politics.
