Abstract (EN)

In this study, 7 new coordination compounds were synthesized by using three anionic ligands (2,2'-(1,2-phylenebis(methylene))bis(sulfanedyl)dibenzoic acid (tsaxylH2); 2,2'-[1,4-butanedylbis(thio)]bis-benzoic acid (tsabutH2) and 2,2'-[2,6-pyridine-yl-bis(thio)]bis-benzoic acid (tsapyrH2) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) as neutral ligand. The structures of the complexes and ligands were characterized by FTIR, NMR spectroscopy and X-ray single crystal diffraction methods. In addition, UV-Vis spectroscopy studies, photoluminescence studies and magnetic susceptibility properties of the complexes were also investigated. Four of these complexes are in one dimensional polymeric structure, while three of them are in zero-dimensional structure. The formula of complexes, namely,: [Co(μ-tsaxyl)(CH3OH)4]n (1); [Cu(tsabut)(phen)2]·(tsabutH2) (2); {[Mn2(μ-tsapyr)(phen)4](ClO4)2}n (3); [Mn2(μ-tsabut)(μ-O)2(phen)2]n (4); [Co2(μ-tsabut)(H2O)2(phen)4]·(ClO4)2 (5); [Zn(μ-tsabut)(phen)]n (6); [Cu(tsaxyl)(phen)2]·CH3OH (7). All complexes synthesized were used as catalysts in the oxidation reactions of ethylbenzene, cyclohexane, n-hexane, p-xylene and diphenylmethane with C-(sp3)-H structure. The effects of solvent, oxidant and sub./cat. ratio on catalytic reactions were investigated.
