Abstract (EN)

In cotton production, the hormone using to manage the balance between vegetative and reproductive growth, and foliar amino acids applications in especially adverse soil conditions are widely used. The effects of combinations of Atonik hormone (containing the nitrophenolates) and STYM 25 (containing L series amino acids) at first squaring and first flowering stages on yield and quality characteristics were investigated in Gloria cotton variety (Gossypium hirsutum L.). The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four replications. The effects of applications on seed cotton per boll and 100 seed weight were found significant. The applications of Atonik and STYM 25 at first squaring and first flowering stage, and Atonik and STYM 25 at only squaring stage increasingly affect plant height, boll number per plant, the number of sympodial branch per plant, seed cotton per boll, seed cotton yield and 100 seed weight whereas the effect of applications on ginning turnout and first picking percentage were found negative direction. It was concluded that the effects of Atonik and STYM 25 on seed weight much more apparent than fiber quality characteristics.
