Abstract (EN)

The mixing and compaction temperatures of hot bituminous mixtures are high this situation causes using of more energy and a negative impact on the environment. This condition negatively affects the country?s economy and environment with increase in emissions.The mixing and compaction of the bituminous mixtures may be decreased with addition of additives (25 to 55 C). This type of bituminous mixtures called as warm mix asphalt. Warm mix asphalt which is produced by using additives may have same or even better properties then conventional bituminous mixtures.In this study, 160/220 penetration grade bitumen was modified using two different types of additives (FT ? paraffin ? sasobit (S) and polyethylene wax (PW)). The different mixtures were produced with unmodified and modified bitumen. Marshall stability and indirect tensile tests were done on prepared specimens and the mixtures performance were investigated.
