Abstract (EN)
The energy and exergy analysis of a biomass-fired thermal power plant in Malatya province, which produces 66 tons/hour of superheated steam and produces 15.75 MW of electricity, has been made. To make the calculations, nodal points were determined and given in the thermodynamic properties tables according to the pressure, temperature and flow rate of these points. For the energy analysis, it has been determined that the highest energy loss is in the boiler with 41588096 kW, which maintains 21 nodal points. For exergy loss, the formation of 16 nodes, the total exergy loss is 31942.5 kW, and the highest exergy loss is seen in the boiler with 23978.4 kW, which corresponds to 75% of the total exergy loss. Energy and exergy analysis configuration tables of other equipment. The thermal source of the power plant was found to be 68%, and the second source of life was 55%.
