Abstract (EN)
Cancer occurs when one of the cells starts dividing and growing uncontrollably. There are various methods for its treatment, such as surgery and chemotherapy. Magnetic hyperthermia is also a cancer treatment method where magnetic nanoparticles are used in conjunction with high-frequency alternating magnetic fields. However, these high-frequency magnetic fields may have adverse effects on humans. In order to reduce the potential negative effects of magnetic field generators used in magnetic hyperthermia, active shielding coils have been designed in a simulated environment. The effects of these shielding coils have been examined, and calculations have been performed. The effective regions of the generated coils have been determined, and graphical results have been obtained for comparison between different designs. Attenuation of high-frequency magnetic fields has been achieved with designed active shielding coils.
