Abstract (EN)

In this study, the production and characterization of ZnO nanoparticles (ZnO-NP) was carried out by biosynthesis method. Different fungal cultures (Penicillium Citrinum, Fusarium Solani, Aspergillus Flavus and Aspergillus Niger) were used in the biosynthesis production of ZnO-NP. The effect of fungal cultures used in production on the physical and antibacterial properties of the produced ZnO-NP was investigated. The structural properties of the obtained ZnO-NP were investigated by X-ray diffactometry. The investigation of different fungal cultures on the structural properties of ZnO-NP such as growth direction, phase, grain size and dislocation density were investigated. The absorption and transmittance spectra were used to examine the optical properties of ZnO-NP. Optical parameters such as band gaps, Urbach energies, band energies, particle sizes, porosity, radii and refractive index were calculated. Morphological properties and elemental analysis of ZnO-NP were investigated using scanning electron microscopy. It has been determined that the fungal culture used in the production of ZnO-NP by biosynthesis has significant effects on the morphological properties and stoichiometry of nanoparticles. Agar disc diffusion method was used for antibacterial activity analysis. Their antibacterial activities were tested on five different bacterial species and it was observed that ZnO-NP had antibacterial effects on all test bacterial species.
