Taxonomic and morphologic studies on the family curculionidae (Coleoptera) of bolkar mountains

Abstract (EN)

In this study; the 3497 adult curculionid specimens that consist of 2461 females and 1036 males collected from Bolkar Mountains of Turkey between April and August of 2005-2008 years. As a result of evaluations, 9 subfamilies, 45 genera and 119 species were determained. Coniocleonus nebulosus (Lixinae) and Mecinus janthinus (Curculioninae) from Turkey and 57 species belonging to 31 genus from study area were given for the first time. In identifications of specimens were utilized their morphological characters with differences of genitalia structures. Geographic, climatic and floristic features of study area and also identification keys of subfamily, tribus, genera and specimens, descriptions, location data?s, distributions over the world and Turkey, photos of specimens with genital structures of male and female, and distrubition maps of species on study area, and drawings of some characters using on identification keys were given.
