Abstract (EN)

In this study, boron waste doped polymer composites of abrasion and mechanical properties were investigated. Epoxy resin is used as matrix material and 75 mm size of boron waste is used as reinforced element. In different proportions by weight (0-60%) of boron waste mixed with resin is poured int o molds and after standing for 1 day at room temperature is remowed form mold. The test specimens were divided into two groups. In Group 1 test specimens at room temperature for 1 day, whereas the samples in Group 2 allowed to stand at room temperature for 28 days of wear and mechanical tests were conducted. As a result of experiments conducted by the addition of boron waste especially the compressive strength was found to increase significantly. 2014, xiii + 87 pages Key Words: Epoxy resin, boron, boron waste, mechanical properties
