Abstract (EN)
In this study, Major Risk Assessment was conducted for BOTAŞ Petroleum Corporation Crude Oil Storage Tank farm, which is built on the northern side of the Gulf of Iskenderun and within the boundaries of the district and the eastern Mediterranean coast of Ceyhan, and major industrial facilities of the Regional Directorate. Botas is known to be a major industrial installation under regulations prescribed Tank farm the major risks Botas authorities held with experienced personnel who work in Tank Farm, ranked in descending order according to the degree of L-type matrix method, and can be operated safely applied levels, reduced levels of risk control measures and continuously kept under the control was determined. Literature survey, similar to the crude oil storage tanks farm were similar to those implemented risk control measures. As a result, on this risk assessment have been identified a suitable and sufficient of the measures. However, recommendations for improvement are presented.
