Abstract (EN)
The main subject of the master thesis is the architectural and liturgical structural elements of the Early and Middle Byzantine in Bursa Archaeological Museum. In Bursa Archaeology Museum, 120 pieces were found in Bursa, districts of Bursa and surrounding areas. These parts are divided into one main heading named architectural and liturgical structural elements and within itself are divided into two subheadings. Architectural elements; 3 column bases, 1 double column base, 1 postament /pedestal, 47 column capital, 4 double column capital, 4 impost capital, 5 piers capital, 2 double columns, 9 lintel, jamb and architrave blocks, 1 zoomorphical waterspout and Liturgical elements; 8 balusters, 19 plates, 1 templon/ciborium column capital, 3 templon architrave, 1 ciborium arch, 7 ambon lateral slabs. The sarcophagi consist of 3 sarcophagi and 1 sarcophagus lid. Comparison of the found parts with similiar examples was made and dating recommendations have been introduced. The decorations of architectural and liturgical function structural elements, mostly made of gray-veined white Prokennesos marble, reflect the characteristics of the regional workshops as well as the capital Constantinople.
