Abstract (EN)

Egypt is one of first examples of a developed civilization in history. Beging located in Mediterranean region helped Egypt to be an effective power in marine trade as well as helped Egypt and other civilsations which located there have cultural interactions. Alexander the Great conqured Egypt in 332 BC as a part of his East Expedition which his establish a relation with in Egypt. Later his a commander and friend Ptolemy (Soter I) and Egypt has been help under control for 275 years. Ptolemy I, Which ruled in Egyptian region and being the longest survived Hellenistic Kingdom, was an effective power due to the policies implamented in political an social lives. In this study we examine Egypt's position in Mediterranean region, its trade network, relations with other civilisations, East expedition of Alexander the Great and his policy on spreading Hellenism, the chaos after the death of Alexander the Great,wars between diadokhs and the changed were caused by Ptolemic Egytpion region.
